This course bridges the gap between theoretical process control concepts taught in academia and the practical skills acquired by control and instrumentation engineers on the job.

This course teaches you how to intuitively develop control systems at the P&ID level—without relying on mathematical models or electrical system design.

Designed for engineers, the course helps you understand and implement control loop systems using real-world examples and practical methods commonly employed by experienced professionals.

It covers both plant-wide and equipment-specific control systems, including those for pipes, tanks, vessels, pumps, compressors, and heat exchangers. You’ll also explore the three main control layers: BPCS, SIS, and Alarm, as well as their carriers: DCS and PLC.
